The study focused on
Knowledge and Awareness of Radiation Exposure and Safety Practice among
patients who have been subjected to medical imaging in 3 selected hospitals in
Bauchi. The aim of the research was to look into the Knowledge and Awareness of

services in 3 hospitals in Bauchi.

which were taken for the research is 172. Research questionnaire was used as
instrument for collecting data and statistical techniques such as frequency,
mean and standard deviation were used for analyzing the data.

knowledge about the ionizing radiations was discovered. They are taught these
things including the fact that the hospitals make use of ionizing radiation and
determine the body parts of patients prior to performing surgery on them. They
also revealed that the patients are aware of some side effects of ionizing
